Wedding guests love expressing themselves and while classic photos are beautiful, some guests might appreciate having some fun with props in both photos and videos. We just had to share this inspiration from a recent wedding where the guests really enjoyed letting loose and creating some one-of-a-kind photo keepsakes.
Congratulations to Tom and Tina on their beautiful wedding day on May 22, 2010. We wish them our very warmest wishes for their new life together. At my request, Tom and Tina have generously agreed to share some of the fantastic ideas they implemented at their wedding. These ideas made sure everyone walked away with a beautiful souvenir that they had lots of fun making, including the bride and groom.
People are creating all kinds of event souvenirs with instant photos and guestbooks are always just about signatures anymore. Collaborating on some kind of photo project is fun and a great ice-breaker. Seize the day to make something that’s one-of-a-kind.
We always love hearing your ideas. When a bride recently asked us if she could have a white background for PhotoBot, we thought: what a great idea! With the bride’s permission, we’ve posted a few of our favorite shots below (it was hard to choose!) to show how it looks.
At a recent wedding, a bride created a personalized photo corner for EventBot – a great idea that the bride has kindly allowed me to share on my blog.
Having booked a PhotoBot for her reception, the bride and her helpers decorated a white lattice background for pictures with favorite photos of the happy couple through the years. The enlargements were in black and white, and nicely framed, with special wording cut-outs all around them. This way, when guests posed for instant pictures, they posed with the couple in the background.
One night, Jennifer Morris dreamt that she was married in a cornfield. Jennifer’s parents own a 400 acre farm just east of Ottawa in Sarsfield, but didn’t grow any corn. This didn’t stop her father from working to make her dream come true. This is the next chapter of the story of the couple who famously proposed on EventBot video.
Due to popular demand, we are now offering PhotoBot photos in black and white. You can choose to have your 2×3″ photos either in colour or black and white at no extra charge. Now your instant pictures can have that timeless, classic quality old photographs, with the same photolab quality that we provide with our full-colour option.
