Personalized Photo Backdrops
EventBot Facing Photo Corner
At a recent wedding, a bride created a personalized photo corner for EventBot – a great idea that the bride has kindly allowed me to share on my blog.
Having booked a PhotoBot for her reception, the bride and her helpers decorated a white lattice background for pictures with favorite photos of the happy couple through the years. The enlargements were in black and white, and nicely framed, with special wording cut-outs all around them. This way, when guests posed for instant pictures, they posed with the couple in the background. I thought it also gave them a chance to see and think about how the couple has grown through the years and all the happy times they have already started having together.
Another benefit to having a personalized background is that your guests have a souvenir photo that really reflects your wedding. In this case, the bride also brought a pink feather boa for guests to wear in the photo if they wanted to. This boa was making it’s second appearance, having been key item at the bridal shower. It sounded like there were lots of memories there! Costume items and props are a great way to let guests express themselves and have fun with photos.
This backdrop idea was only one of many special touches at a beautiful wedding, and we wish Carla and Greg the very best.
