Some Enchanted Evening

VideoBot in the Cornfield
One night, Jennifer Morris dreamt that she was married in a cornfield. Jennifer’s parents own a 400 acre farm just east of Ottawa in Sarsfield, but didn’t grow any corn. This didn’t stop her father from working to make her dream come true.
A year later, there’s a cornfield not far from the house, with a rectangular patch of flat, perfect green grass right in the middle of it. Just the right size for setting up some white folding chairs, a large white tent with festive lighting, and four white pillars to get married between. I can only imagine what it must have been like to wake up in the morning and see the corn growing outside, knowing that with every inch, the time that they would join together was nearer?
Later in the evening, once the stars began to sparkle over the 6 ft tall corn plants, we arrived with a VideoBot. It was not like any other wedding we’d been to. We set up the VideoBot right between the pillars where Jennifer and Kevin were married earlier that day. It was definitely the closest we’ve ever managed to park the car. (see MINI below)

The Happy Bride
We first met the happy couple at the Ottawa Wedding Show in spring 2008 when they left a video entering our annual video contest. We ask people at the show to tell us the story of their proposal. Well, in the now infamous video, Kevin goes down on one knee and proposes right there to a very surprised and elated Jennifer. They later spread word of their engagement by sending peopleto our website, where the video was posted. (You can still watch the video here.)
It’s clear that these two lovebirds are full of surprises, and we wish them all the best for everything life brings them.
