On February 12, 2010, a number of Ottawa companies were celebrated for having bootstrapped themselves to success – EventBots among them. We were thrilled to be included as the silver winner for Best New Micro Business of the Year, as we were in truly great company. Fashion CURES à la mode is a brand new phenomenon to hit Ottawa on November 4-7 to raise awareness and funds for ovarian cancer research while celebrating Canadian designers. It’s also an opportunity for everyone to be part of Canada’s fashion scene. I attended the media launch for this event and eavesdropped on Ming Wu’s interview with Samantha of Starfish Creative Events to learn more.
This post is a quick thank you (the first of many I’m sure) to people of all shapes and colours who are involved in Ottawa’s vibrant social media scene. You’ve really been great friends to EventBots over the past year and a half. Some of our greatest moments have been thanks to you.
